Some years back I used to lead park-walks at Knole at Sevenoaks. I prepared this sheet to help young people to explore plants and to understand the different ways they dispersed / spread their seeds.
October is probably the best time to use this sheet. Although prepared for Knole Park the plants I’ve featured can be found in most parks or hedgerow.

This activity goes well with matching leaves with seeds. It helps with the identification of some common trees.
